Our Mission
Abandon the Reckless (ATR) empowers youth and young adults through mentorship, education, mobility access, career opportunities, and environmental awareness.
Our mission is to remove barriers that can prevent young people from becoming independent and successful. We pay for driving school for eligible participants, helping them gain the skills and confidence needed to earn their driver’s license and expand their access to education, employment, and opportunity.
ATR also hosts job fairs, career and resource events, and community programs that connect youth and families with employers, workforce opportunities, training programs, and valuable community resources.
Through strong community partnerships, environmental education, clean transportation awareness, and hands-on support, Abandon the Reckless is committed to helping young people move to and through college, into meaningful careers, and toward lifelong success.
We help youth attend driving school and provide free highlighted manuals to support their future employment and empowerment.
Our goals are to:
1. Effectively engage with youth.
2. Equip youth with tools and resources to continue school or find gainful employment.
3. Educate youth and low-income families on driving safety.
4. Assist our youth in attending driving school.
5. Create a safe zone for our youths’ creative thinking.
6. Partner with other nonprofits and businesses that share our core goals.
7. Open honest dialogue about marijuana and alcohol abuse.
We are dedicated to fostering atmospheric purity through the utilization of electric and hybrid transport while integrating ecological consciousness into our operations.
